Kenwood NXDN Site Roaming Questions

Can anyone tell me how “site roaming” works on a conventional NXDN system? I’ve searched all over but haven’t found much info on it.

May be better off asking your question into the Kenwood specific form. Theres a little there on it as well and is similar to DMR site roaming.

Keeping it basic:

Each site sends out a beacon signal at the same time.
The subscriber radios listen and pick the signal with the highest RSSI
The subscriber radio will sit on that channel until its timer tells it to start checking RSSI levels again.
