Your PM's are not private and the administration has the right to read them if there's a hint to criminal activity.

If you are having trouble legally obtaining software please state so. We do not want any hurt feelings when your vague post is mistaken for a free request. It is YOUR responsibility to properly word your request.

To obtain Motorola software see the Sticky in the Motorola forum.

The various other vendors often permit their dealers to sell the software online (i.e., Kenwood). Please use Google or some other search engine to find a dealer that sells the software. Typically each series or individual radio requires its own software package. Often the Kenwood software is less than $100 so don't be a cheapskate; just purchase it.

For M/A Com/Harris/GE, etc: there are two software packages that program all current and past radios. One package is for conventional programming and the other for trunked programming. The trunked package is in upwards of $2,500. The conventional package is more reasonable though is still several hundred dollars. The benefit is you do not need multiple versions for each radio (unlike Motorola).

Greetings to everyone,

Newbie to the RadioReference community here looking for advice. I have a couple of Kenwood TK-370G radios and need antennas for them, but so far the ones I have seen in eBay and Amazon seem cheap. I also found a site called PacParts but they don't have them in stock. Can anyone please point me in the right direction to help me find some good antennas? Should I be looking at a particular brand in case I can't find OEM Kenwood antennas? Any assistance or suggestions are most welcome.

The antenna connector is an SMA type. Just about any Kenwood UHF antenna will work, even the ones from the more modern radios.

Avoid the Cheap Chinese Antennas on Amazon and E-Bay. They are not known to always be tuned to the frequencies the seller claims they are. Best to stick with name brand stuff.

One of the variables that isn't covered by the SMA standard is the rubber skirt around the base of the antenna. They vary from manufacturer to manufacturer, but I can tell you that most of the SMA type Motorola antennas will fit just fine.
You may want to check with local Kenwood radio shops. Antennas tend to be a consumable item, so they often have spares in stock.

As mmckenna said, avoid eBay and Amazon. Too many Chinese knockoff antennas of poor quality. I only buy HT antennas from a radio dealer so that I can be sure to get an OEM antenna.

For your Kenwood, I recommend an OEM KRA-27 . That's the antenna I use on all my UHF Kenwood HTs. They work great and are inexpensive.
