I have a Kenwood TS-180S.
It transmit on 40m and 10m. It has no output on any of the other bands.
It receives well on all bands.
Any Input on where to start looking?

Does it have a bandswitch? I think it does, from the pics on the 'net of the radio. Most 70's radios have mechanical bandswitches, and if the points on the switch oxidize, exercising the bandswitch, or cleaning it, can help. I experienced the bandswitch on my 1970's era Yaesu FRG-7 acting up. Spray cleaner helped.

Don’t have a schematic, will have to look around in the net.
It has a band switch.
Its an interesting radio I also have the matching ATU, but it needs some work but that’s a different issue…🙂

Have followed the suggestion and spray cleaned the potentiometer’s.
I now have all bands Except 20m. It receives and when the mic is keyed the radio clicks into transmit..but no output at all.
It’s fully functional on all other bands.
