I noticed someone added 58240 as "Kershaw Co. FD". Has someone actually logged this ? I know of no Kershaw Co. agency on 800. It would be great if we're headed that way.

I heard this talkgroup on the Winnsboro cell on New Years Eve during a bad wreck. Three helicopters were requested but I believe only Careforce and LifeReach responded. This talkgroup was used to communicate between the scene and the LZ. Also, Kershaw County fire called both LifeReach and Careforce on their 800 talkgroups (3920, 3888) so they definitely have 800 radios. They probably have the radios for interoperability only and use them for talkaround. Listen out to it and let us know what you hear.

Last night (Friday 1-5-07) I heard two new TG's, 36816 and 36784, both on the Lancaster cell #48. Did not hear enough to identify agencies, but on TG 36816 one of the stations stated he was "heading back to (toward?) Lancaster". From the chatter it sounded like two mobile units from a public service agency. The TG 36784 was also picked up on the Chester cell #46. Has anyone else heard these? I wondered if they might be Kershaw units, since Kershaw County apparently does have 800 capability.
