Elbert County: CO-86 & CR-150, 7 miles East of Kiowa on a large wildland fire with numerous Douglas and El Paso County units enroute M/A.

Initial reports at least 400 acres.

Kiowa U/D: Initial reports of 400+ acres, now M/A medical resources from Franktown for FF's with smoke inh.

It sounds like MAC 1 is an Ops channel for this fire.

MAC 2 was being used to communicate back to Denver. Numerous agencies from Elbert, Douglas, Araphoe, Adams & El Paso County were involved. DC/MetCom Ops13 was also being used for Douglas County units.

It was a lot cleaner two days ago, changing lenses on a dirt road with high winds tends make things a bit dusty
