Very Sad. My thoughts and prayers goes and to his family and the citizens he served. I had the priviledge of spending a week in the Pikeville-Regina area during "Hillbilly Days" the people of that region are very geniune, warm and very nice. Ironically, they lost a deputy/jailer who had a off duty motorcycle accident while I was there if memory serves me correct.

I heard that he was the first KSP trooper to die in the line of duty in 18 years.Vary sad.
Was he responding to a call at the time of the crash?

Yet another fine young officer has given his life while protecting the community and the state he serves. This sadness never ends. May God Bless his spirit and always watch over his family. Rest well my brother.
