• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

If you violate these guidelines your post will be deleted without notice and an infraction will be issued. We are not against discussion of this issue. You just need to do it in the right place. For example:

Here is what I have, I know the 37280's are part of Lakewood PD, and Wheat Ridge Fire still using, 37105 - Wheat Ridge Fire CAD Patch and the main CAD is 37101, I also tracked 37088 as a Wheat Ridge Fire CAD just in the last month, sounds patched, was used as a Wheat Ridge City Channel a few years ago?

37107 - Wheat Ridge Fire - CAD
37283 - Lakewood PD ?
37294 - Lakewood PD Traffic 1?

BTW, lately I've been noticing that System 00A seems to use randomly-assigned patch TG's between 1-99, usually for Lakewood PD. Evidently Harris P-25 systems create random "temporary" TG's for a patch supergroup, which go away as soon as the patch is cleared. As such, it appears that folks with XT scanners (or maybe any scanner?) have to permanently scan this system in "Search" mode if they want to pick up all patches??

If someone could confirm that the System 00A uses TG's 1-99 only for patches, then I guess I could program them all into my scanner...

Last generation GRE PSR-500/600/800 and GRE for RadioShack PRO-106/197 handle P25 patching. For whatever reason Uniden missed this absolute necessity.
