latest senital Update.

ok downloaded the lastest update for senital and after which. I go to run it and it says the database is corrput. Please re install senital.

I delete it through the program features section in the control panel and then I re install the sential update and again it states the database
is corrput again.

So what Can I do to solve this problem.

Hi David,

What Sentinel version did you go from and to? I have had Version 2.02 (revision 01) for some time now. I went to the My Uniden website at Uniden | A World Without Wires to check for a Sentinel update and could not find anything. The program itself when started is not saying that there is a newer version either.

Sounds like you have security issues on your computer. Solve those and Sentinel will work as it does for the rest of us.

Run as administrator is a work around to get you through the problem at hand, it's not a solution.

Look in event viewer/system for error messages and search up how to fix those. It's not real hard, the error codes will lead you right to the article's at MS.

Go to the folder C:\ProgramData\Uniden\BCDx36HP_Sentinel\Database
Delete all files then restart Sentinel. You should see a message "Reconstructing Full Database".
