Lavergne fire and Nashville TRS

Have Lavergne FD moved to the nashville TRS yet?

I believe so. Heard them on TG 49424 about a week ago responding to a call. Was not able to listen to see if simulcast on old freq.

Was in Rutherford County this morning, Smyrna and Murfreesboro to be exact and heard a fire dispatch go out on the old analog LaVernge FD dispatch frequency. Swapped over to the Metro TRS and the LaVernge P25 TGID was active with the same info heard on the analog freq. My diagnosis is that at least for the time being they are simulcasting on both systems.

Good question. I haven't heard anything. If they ever did a change i'd imagine it would be something simlilar to what they're doing in east TN with that 700MHz stuff.

I just checked the RR database, Metro Nashville/Davidson County system, and it shows that LaVergne Fire has been added to the system and the talk group # is 49424.
