From the database:

Levy County Sheriff, Inglis PD, Cedar Key PD, Chiefland PD, Bronson PD, and Williston PD are now using a ICOM IDAS VHF system after leaving the SLERS system.

Has anyone had any luck monitoring Levy?

Well, it's not a secret I'm a Kenwood service tech, all I can say is I provide a service to them, what's on RR is pretty much up to date. But Williston has their own repeater.

As for radios, they have Icom's and Kenwoods.

L.S.O. is still slers btw

Should be able to, scan the transmitter channels, and yes, there is a beacon, its what we call NXDN site roaming, radios stay on a fixed channel, but choose best site signal. Best i can tell you on this.

@whooey last Thurs I was traveling on i75 south and I did pick up this tg 20 44 on the Williston Site. 155.4375 ran 5 / 151.4750 ran 5. Inglis 151.430 ran 5. TG 20 sounds like Fire or EMS. This is using the sds100 and I am using NXDN OFT setup. Not sure if they are using a trunk system.@kd4efm

I would make 2 different list 1 for NXDN OFT and one for NXDN Trunk. In NXDN Trunk put all freq lcns at 0 and do a lcn search?

it is not a trunk system, it is a multi-site IP system, and the best thing to do is pick a single site that you can hear the best, and scan those
channels for that site versus all the sites. They also have fire paging that can listened to also.
Like I mentioned, they have a system that in my field, we call it NXDN Site Roaming, so you will hear NXDN burst packets, this is how the radio locks in on a site to communicate. It is different from Type D trunking so there is NO LCN.

You said that the db was up to date, yet I see no system or "site" info listed. By sites, do you mean frequencies (for scanner purposes)?

At one time there was a Trunk System the Type D NXDN. Not sure when it was taken off the DB.

Evans, what happened to Williston's UHF LTR system they were using back around 2018-2019 ?
I went back into my old 396 T files & found where they were using 461 MHz licensed to basic two radio dealer in Ocala.
