Fellow scanners. I see that on nf2g.com Dave says that Lifenet-75 is based at the Catskill Regional Medical Center and that it is dispatched on an unknown dispatch channel. Does anyone know what frequency is used for Lifenet-75's dispatch channel.

Thank you.

Thanks. I knew that Lifenet-71, Lifenet-72 and Lifeguard 12 helicopters were dispatched on 155.265 (162.2 PL) which is what I have in my scanner now. I just was not sure if Lifenet-75 was dispatched on the same frequency because dave had said that Lifenet-75 was dispatched on an unknown channel, so I was just wondering what that unknown channel was. Thanks again.

STATFlight

Lifenet 73 and 74 in Westchester and Ulster County were formerly STATFlight and they are dispatched on 463.000 (PL179.9) with the Helos on 468.0000 (PL179.9).

Maybe they use Catskill RegionalMedical Centers freqs. The only thing that I could turn up in an FCC search was callsign KNBJ591 (163.2500) which looks like just a paging channel.

I also tried searching the FCC database for LifeCom (LifeNet Dispatch) and Air Methods (LifeCom Parent Company) with no luck for anything in NY.

I would keep an ear to the UHF MED Channels as well as 155.265 to try to find them.

Hope this helps,

LIFENET-75 is definitely not dispatched via the Albany remote on 155.265. They do use that frequency in the rare event that they are in the Capital District and need to talk to somebody.

The Catskill Regional Medical Center is in Sullivan County, so it's way out of range for Albany.

East Coast Scanning Post

Just found some info on the East Coast Scanning Orange County Board:
http://www.eastcoastscanning.com/viewtopic.php?t=358

On that post, near the bottom it lists LifeNet-75 with STATFlight Air-1(LifeNet-73) and Air-2(LifeNet-74) as using 463.0000(179.9) & 468.0000(179.9). I'm not sure if it is confirmed information or just assumed. This is a pretty difinitive source of information for the Lower Hudson Valley.

Hope this helps,

83,

Just to clarify the information offered in the hyperlink you posted above, LifeNet-75, much like David said in his post above about 155.265, is capable of the STaTFlight frequencies - but it's unclear (at least to me) if they are actually dispatched (like Air 1 and Air 2 are) over MED1.

I could be wrong but about a year ago I set up an LZ in Rockland County for the SP Helo 1H75 or Lifeguard 75. This was a much larger helicopter than 1H18( Lifegueard 18 ) that we sometimes see when Stat-Flight is tied up.
