Sorry if this is old news, but I haven't been following the latest developments in TRBO lately. I ran across this training video after another db admin contacted me about Linked-Capacity Plus. It appears to be a Capacity Plus trunking version of MotoTRBO's "IP Site Connect" feature for conventional systems.

The training video is here (enjoy the smooth jazz interludes :D ):
MOTOTRBO: What is Linked Capacity Plus? - YouTube

It supports up to 15 sites, and only sites with users currently registered to a certain talkgroup will receive voice on that talkgroup (i.e. it doesn't simulcast all voice traffic across all sites).

Just curious if any of you guys have come across this system type yet, and if so if there are any identifying features or data frames that might show up in DSD or DMRDecode logs to tip you off?

Pretty sure I ran across a 3 site LCP system this summer.

DMRDecode didn't show any LCN's but the Groups moved amongst all the frequencies on the site.

There was no control channel at all.

I guessed that DMRDecode didn't understand the LCP header and was unable to dig out the LCN information.

All traffic on the system was encrypted.

I get the below message on the Linked Capacity Plus site setup here. This is for Site 1:
"Unknown CSBK : CSBKO=59 + FID=16 1100000100010000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000"

As an FYI to the dbadmins: Linked Capacity Plus is now an available system flavor in the database for TRBO systems. If you know of any systems that are confirmed LCP and exist in the database as "Connect Plus", please update the system flavor.

Any members who are aware of a local system that should be listed as Linked Capacity Plus, please make a database submission so we can update the listing.

Hey Tampa, does that show up only during voice calls, only during rest channel beacon bursts, or both? Any rhyme or reason to it you can tell? Since there is no zone controller or site controller, just "master" repeaters at each site, I suspect there may be some sort of data frame that announces which sites have registered radios and are carrying each voice call. Since Linked-CP is an extra option, it wouldn't surprise me if they stuck this feature in an extra CSBK message rather than re-engineering the original ones to contain site data.

I only see it on beacon transmissions. I setup a multisite LCP system for Motorola for an event. After the event, the system was taken down and sold to local dealers. I believe the 2 sites I am hearing (that are not hooked to IP connections when I visited the sites) are the LCP repeaters, but used in single site mode at this time. TT

Linked Cap+ CSBKO=56?

Can anyone give some light as to why I am seeing CSBKO=56 on the DSD+ console screen please.

It's frequency is a known local public bus company and I need to know whether this falls in the Linked Cap+ category.
