In a co-op venture Medic EMS (Davenport, IA) and AMT (Peoria) supply ambulance service to Mercer County from Aledo. I hear some the ambulances operating on the Genesis Ambulance dispatch talkgroup on RACOM network in Rock Island County. Lately I have noted that the audio on their transmissions have changed. It is more of the audio you hear on a P25 trunked system that is linked over. Not unlike the audio RACOM has on their tech & Ops TG. So has anyone in the Mercer County area notice if they are using a Starcom TG that is linked over to RACOM.
I should mention that most of the agencies in the Quad-Cities are using dual mode radios (EDACS/P25).

It don't think it will happen till they build the regional P25 P2 system in this area. The local agencies decided to go with their own instead of going with Starcom21 or ISICS.
