Does anyone know how Littleton EMS units communicate to area hospitals? The DTRS channels for area hospitals appear to be unused.

Does anyone know how Littleton EMS units communicate to area hospitals? The DTRS channels for area hospitals appear to be unused.

All ems agencies in the Denver area utilize cellphones to do biophone reports. The DTRS channels are active but they are not utilized for daily communications just back up and disaster.

MED-1 through MED-10 are usually the helicopter flight nurse to ER as well; the manner in which the patient was injured or a patient transfer, patient condition and vitals and urgency are all that are reported.

MED-9 and MED-10 are most frequently used. VFERN21 (FERN 154.28) is usually pilot to ground contact but has been used for patient condition as well.

Thanks. All of those I routinely monitor, as well as the DTRS hospital channels, etc.
