• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

If you violate these guidelines your post will be deleted without notice and an infraction will be issued. We are not against discussion of this issue. You just need to do it in the right place. For example:

All law enforcement in OC is digital encrypted so it cannot be scanned. There could be feeds for other things but I doubt it.

Would be cool if someone would stream Disneyland.

I have contemplated Great America Theme Park in Northern California, but it requires another dedicated computer and scanner.

They get pretty busy too.

I keep hearing people talking about scanning Disneyland, but seriously... is it really that interesting to listen to? I'm near Six Flags Over Texas, and unless you are actually at the park, it is hella boring to listen to.

On another note, are there any Riverside County channels being streamed online?

It would be like rail scanning I think. There are lots of Disney park fan sites so I am sure they would like to hear what is going on at the parks. Some of the TG's I would not want to hear like all of the hotel TG's and the merchandice. The rest of what is going on at the park's can be pretty interesting and when there is an event going on it can get really busy on the radio. It is suprising that their system is not maxed out yet with TG and the number of channels they have.
