It's the really the first evening that it's warm here in Hamilton, so I brought out my BCD 396XT to do some searching with a decent antenna 18 floors up.
Last fall in November, the only LMRN Towers I was able to "get" were Hamilton and Mississauga's. Tonight I got those as well as Toronto, King City, and Niagara. Mississauga had the 20824 I think the S.Georgian Bay talkgroup.
I'm not in any way smart enough to know anything with this new system but there are more towers and there is less strength than the old FleetNet days.I'm curious what range we can get with LMRN. This BCD 396XT is my least deaf scanner.
I'm wondering why I can't get anything on Brantford's tower? I guess its coverage to the east is weaker than to the west.
