Local channel nothing but noise now

Are local police must changed the system now on the police frequency 155.370 it just hissing noise, could the be using a trunk system now.
How do I scan for the new frequency, I have a trunk scanner now?

Have you checked the RR database for your town to see if there has been a change? There are too many possibilities to just randomly scan for what you are after.
