Here's one question for the listeners in the East Kootenay in British Columbia

I have been listening to the local fire departments in the East Kootenay area of British Columbia for the past few years. (Dispatched out of Kelowna, BC )
Lately they have gone silent and after mentioning this to a local Firefighter, he says they have gone Digital/Trunking.
I'm not completely sure reference the digital part but they have been on the DMR radio system.

I'm looking for suggestions on how I should try scan to locate if they have changed frequencies of complete systems.

Thanks
