How can I see automatically those coord [[44.26923,8.44024]] with LRRP.exe or some other tool?
Sorry for my poor english.
Thanks in advance.

DSDPlus will write GPS position reports via LRRP to the DSDPlus.LRRP file. This filed is read by LRRP.exe allowing your to view
the unit positions on the map.

To begin with, go to the "Misc" tab in DSDPlus and enable (select) "Show All Traffic and Background Events". This will provide you with the ablility to display LRRP position events as they are broadcast. If you don't see them here when tuned to your DMR system then there is no point
in attempting to view unit locations in LRRP.exe.

If you have confirmed that you're receiving LRRP position reports then simply open LRRP.exe and tap the "Z" key on your computers keyboard to enable Auto Zoom. You will also likely need to edit the second line in LRRP.cfg to set a compatible map height and width.

Observe the LRRP events show in violate in the screen capture below. This is what you should be seeing if the system is in fact broadcasting LRRP GPS position reports.

This is a representation of way your LRRP screen should look like when displaying unit positions.

It looks like the radio was aliased with the coordinates. Is that transmitted like that or have you edited the RADIOS file? If it is transmitted like that, perhaps a raw audio file would be helpful.

Those are DMR embedded talker GPS coordinates. They are sent during voice calls. They are decoded by DSDPlus and the coordinates appended to the radio alias text. Data is written to the .LRRP file.

As mentioned, just run LRRP.EXE and use it properly, i.e. enable auto-zoom, set Max Age appropriately.

Thank you all for answering.
I'll read carefully all yours suggestions.
Some quick facts:
-- I'm a "sporadic" user of dsdplus so maybe I'm missing something
-- the picture is not edited is what I get from dsdplus
-- i have no problem seeing locations (from other networks) with LRRP.exe when the come in LRRP format (line in violet in WGBACKS' post)
I'll check my config to see if I have to enable some option.
Bye

DSD+ might not display embedded talker GPS values in the console log. It's not a packet data message like LRRP. In fact, it's not LRRP at all.

At some point in the past, on some (probably conventional) DMR channel, during a voice call, RID 10 broadcast its GPS location.

DSD+ added that location to the radio's name and wrote an entry to the DSDPlus.LRRP file.

Check that file with Windows Notepad. Is there an entry for RID 10 at those coordinates? Is it an old entry? Have you ever edited/deleted/replaced that file?

Do you have LRRP.exe set up to display old data? What Max Age value does LRRP.exe display in its window title bar?

Is LRRP.exe up to date? It should be version 1.23

If you edit that radio's name and remove the GPS entry, does it get recreated? You might be dealing with coordinates that were broadcast months ago. I have many radio entries, mainly D-Star ones, with GPS data embedded in their names, that haven't been seen by me in years. DSD+ remembers those coordinates forever:

Is there any awy to make it clear / delete everything in the DSDPlus.LRRP file when you close DSD+ so next time you run LRRP.EXE, it won't show you old stuff on the map from your last session?

LRRP.exe won't show you old stuff if you set Max Age properly. Or you could just add DEL DSDPlus.LRRP to whatever batch file you use to start DSD+.

Again, thanks you all for support and suggestions, I'll read carefully.

By the way: my starting bat (maybe developed before Max Age properties or rather I didn't know about max age...) copy DSDPLUS.LRRP to an archive file and then clear the file just to display only current entries (my current max age is infinity).
