Locking in specific talk groups.

I used to own a PSR radio and am now running the Uniden 996.p2 ....I thought I used to be able to just trget certain talk groups while avoiding all others...Seems to me that the tower freq picks any traffic coming over tower regardless of if you have talk group punched in or not...Is there some way of only monitoring only specific talk groups ignoring all others.?.

You need to set it to "ID Scan" instead of the "ID Search". I do this inside of freescan but I'm sure if can be done manually as well.

Press "Func-search" and it will change to iD-Scan while scanning....
