Long Hill

Currently, Long Hill units (Police, Fire, First Aid) are slated for a January 1, 2012 switch to Morris County.

Due to financial reasons the Long Hill switch has been moved from January 1st 2012 to April 1st 2012, which is when their contract with Bernards Township comes to an end.

Actually it's been set for April 1st for a while. They want to wait til the contract is over.

Not true, the original plan was to do the switch as quickly as possible for January 1st. However, the specs and purchasing of the radios took longer than anticipated so they pushed it back to April to make sure everyone is ready before switching.
