Many people have gotten away from notification services like IPN due to costs and the strict rules they must adhere to when dispatching. If you want reliable notifications and news, join Twitter. Its free, you can send/receive alerts on your phone, computer, or tablet, plus two-way interaction with others in your community.

Well Ive heard you can get alerts quicker by using a service like Ialerts1. Im about to subscribe for them but was just wondering how they were as far as a fast and reliable service. Im hearing from some that at times they are better than 1st responder.Does anybody have info on Ialerts1?

First, we need to know what area you live in/want to get alerts for. If any of the services does not provide adequate coverage, you're gonna waste your money...

Lets say in an area like Boston, would Ialerts1 offer good service in this area. I hear good things about this co. ID be willing to pay for service in that area. Does anyone have thoughts on this particular co?
