New Castle County is part of the statewide trunked radio system...see link below.
http://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?sid=411
If you don't have a digital scanner, you won't be able to receive this, however you can still receive the simulcast's of it. Two of these are 453.900 and 453.050. I personally feel the second has better audio. There are also several others listed here (any that say simul of TRS).

Good luck,
Ryan

PS If you do have a digital scanner, New Castle County Fire Primary is N-Tac 3 and EMS Primary is EMS Ops 1.

Thanks for the answer, but I have 453.900 as Seaford fire department.

I just checked the DB, 453.9000 is still listed as a simulcast from Elsmere FD in New Castle County as well...I have used it in the past, though like I say, I personally feel the audio on 453.050 is a little less distorted. Otherwise, 453.3000 is also decent.

I also show the following stations, may be off the air:

Dave can you confirm any of these? If they are wrong or missing in the db, we can get them updated...

Hello,

No PL for STA 1/27 Middletown 453.0250.
No PL for STA 7/8/9/10 Aetna 460.6250.
460.5750 Never hear any comms on it. I do have it in Scan List. Too much pager intermod.
154.3400 I don't know, will add to Scan List. Too much intermod from Cecil Co. VHF EDACS ProVoice System

NOTE: 453.3000 is the FTO Channel.

Everything else posted is as is. :)

I have a question. What are each of these frequencies actually called? Like EMS OPS, Tac 3, could you tell me what each of these frequencies are? I would appreciate it!
453.0250 CSQ

453.3000 CSQ
453.3500 CSQ
453.9000 PL 192.8
460.6000 PL 179.9
460.6250 CSQ

They aren't really called anything except the fire companies that run them. They are all rebroadcasts of the Tac 3, Tac 4, and EMS Op 1 channels. I think a few of them have the DISP channel as well.

They aren't really powerful repeaters and were initially meant for their members to be able to monitor the trunked system without having to have an actual 800mhz radio all the time.

453.300 is the county run dispatch channel and 453.050 is the county run rebroadcast channel, but the 453.050 always has digital noise on it so I don't listen to it.
