If you're stuck in an apartment, or with very little space to put up wire antennas, loops are a perfectly reasonable alternative for you. Many take up very little space, can be easy to hide, can reduce or sometimes eliminate noise issues - all issues HF folks deal with every day.
Just remember, get them as far away from the home as you can. If you're indoors, you would need to wander a bit to find the quiet spot - if there is one.
