Lorain Police

Wondering if anyone has a complete list of frequencies used in Lorain? I got a look at a cruiser last night and saw a cheat sheet with 8 channels on it. No frequencies just 1 trough 8 with descriptions. Unfortunately I was unable to copy the information down. I generally only see two frequencies listed for them in most reference material.

Probably have Elyria PD (155.730), Lorain County SO (154.875), Lorain County smaller PDs (155.415), possibly their Public Works, Possibly Inter-city (155.370), possibly LEERN (154.935), anyone else care to guess, here?

I have the line up for the Lorain County SO. I am an Auxiliary Deputy Sheriff there.

Prob. Not NRPD.... LPD has VHF radios and will stick with VHF, might have OSP (osp'S pOST 47 USES vhf, NOT lOW BAND THER, UNLESS THEY HAVE GONE TO THE marcs SYSTEM ALREADY) , but hard to tell...It has been 2 decades since I had a chance to look in one of LPD's cars.... ( Went to the Academy with a couple back then)

Post 47 has been on MARCS for a long time. LPD might still have the old hi-band for Post 47 in their radios.

Lorain

OSP is on MARCS now, except Post 47 still uses 155.445 for car to car, and they always use Statewide (155.370) when calling other departments in the county. I agree with the previous post that they would have LCSO 154.875, LEERN 154.935, their secondary channel 153.845, and 155.970 County car to car. They probably also have the city band to contact the service dept and perhaps the Fire channel 154.355.
