ARCXT: Lost character counter with firmware update

Since I do most of my programing on ARC XT and since the number of characters per line is different on the SDS100 and SDS200 AND since Sentinel has no character counter I am now hampered with my text programing.

Maybe Gomert will read this and help me.

How we can duplicate this and what firmware version are you referring to?
Also ARC XT does not support the Uniden SDS series so I need more exact details.
