I'm sure it's happened to some of you - I was in a rush this morning and the weather cap from my K600M Diamond mount dropped somewhere - it's gone. It's a UHF style mount.
The weather cap prevents ice, snow and rain from getting into the connection and ruining it. Unfortunately I live in an area where kids are prevalent, so keeping the antenna locked away is the only way to protect it. Now the connection is exposed to the elements.
Short of buying a new mount, anyone have any ideas? This is a bit of a pain
best regards..Mike
