Hello,

Does anyone know what radio frequency Lowe's Home Improvement uses at 7850 Wormans Mill Road in Frederick County, MD?

Or, can anyone point me to where I could find this? It doesn't seem like they are in the FCC database so this leads me to think that they are using some unlicensed frequency?

They use cheap Baofeng radios.

Thanks.

Not in the RRDB either (but Home Depot is!).

You may want to try a search the FRS/GRMS frequencies:

Be sure to submit them if you find them!

All the Lowes's stores I have been to in TX don't use radios. They have DECT phones on their PBX system. Probably in the OP's location an individual store bought Baofeng radios and used the default factory settings or pulled frequencies out of their @$$.

The stores here in Hagerstown seem to be using 151.625 / 67.0 PL on a limited basis. I'm still working on confirming things 100% since we have two stores here but they are using older-style Motorola handhelds, not the newer programmable radios. I'm thinking something similar to the Radius line which probably means they may be limited to like two frequencies or so anyway. I would start looking in the VHF band around 151 MHz and 154 MHz.

...

Just realized you already mentioned Baofeng radios so that would be different than Motorola Radius or something like that. I agree with the previous post that they probably just punched something in without bothering to worry about a license.
