About 30-40 of these about 9:00 cst in SE Alabama. The freq. was 158.895 meg. Anyone know how to
decode the lat long from this? I am trying to see what GE will show me.

Not sure how to convert it to .kml, but if you open LRRP.exe in DSDPlus, it will display on Open Street Map.

Seems that it was fairly complicated. I don' get much computer time anymore. I'll see
if I can find the instructions in the archives.

LRRP is not difficult. But, DSDPlus doesn't decode all LRRP. If you think it is LRRP but it isn't being decoded / displayed by DSDPlus+LRRP then you should capture raw audio of the LRRP and send it to dsdplusfastlane@gmail.com.

First make sure you are using the latest FastLane version though. I'm sure latest FL versions support more types of LRRP than older versions of FL and the public non-FL version.

All I have ever had to to to make use of LRRP is actually fire up LRRP.exe. BUT, it's futile to do that if you don't see LRRP-specific information showing up in the DSDPlus Event Window. If DSDPlus Event Window shows LRRP information, then you can run LRRP.exe and it will map it. If DSDPlus Event Window isn't showing LRRP, then that vendor LRRP data isn't supported and you should send raw audio to dsdplusfastlane@gmail.com.

I cannot remember if DSDPlus verbosity ( -v# ) has anything to do with it or not, so I'd make sure I was running with a verbosity level of 4 ( -v4 ).

Attached is an example screenshot. If you see the purple LRRP data in the DSDPlus Event Window, then you can run LRRP to display it. If you don't see that in the DSDPlus Event Window but you look at the raw data and suspect it is some sort of LRRP, send the raw audio to the author.

Yea, I have LRRP going. There are a few SO, PD's that transmit lrrp data that I can receive when skip
is in. I just forgot what it was there for a minute. I have a school that transmits lat long data that will
not track and now this. N9PBD I put them in the same area, looking at the header 38 is the Houston
county SO's call name. 38 being the 38th county in Alabama hince 38 on our tags. So it could be
something to do with the county.

So, this specific LRRP data is not displaying in your LRRP application? If that is the case, are you running the latest DSDPlus Fastlane? If so, then please consider capturing some raw audio (using "r" in DSDPlus) and sending that raw audio to dsdplusfastlane@gmail.com with a note that it's LRRP data that isn't being decoded by DSDPlus.

Of course, if you aren't running the latest FL version, an FL version may actually decode that LRRP data. So you'd want to make sure that it isn't a simple case of you using an old version of DSDplus. If you aren't running hte latest DSDPLus FL version but can post a link to some raw audio, one of us with the latest FL version could tell you if the latest FL version will decode it.

LRRP solved I think. School system dmr system freq 155.7225, 158.895 is the mobile freq. I
only heard 158.895 when it was within 5-7 miles of my home. The unit 38 just happened to
be Houston county's call. DSDPlus decodes some of the LRRP data resent on 155.7225
as LRRP data and it shows up on open street map. Thanks for the come backs.
