Hi folks, is there a way for me to mute a data burst that keeps coming up on a system that I am monitoring? Thanks.

Nope, not if you're monitoring in conventional mode.

One of the local ambulance companies uses 2 UHF LTR systems, in addition to conventional VHF. On my Pro-43, I can hear the data burst break the squelch. On my PSR-500, it doesn't. (You can see the signal strength meter go full scale, though.)

It's an LTR Passport system that has to be monitored in conventional mode.
