Countryside PD Tac 2 VHF

It has been reported on the CARMA Yahoo Group that Countryside PD is being dispatched by Southwest Central Dispatch on 476.7375 and using 4900-series IDs.

155.07000 has been confirmed as Countryside PD TAC 2 unkown pl tone if any.

You can occasionally hear North Riverside PD on 155.940. Usually, its used for running 10-28's or as a talkaround. Fire uses this channel as a T/A as well. Dispatchers will say "Can you go to 3?" in reference to this channel.

Ummm...if they have an encrypted system, how would we hear them say "go to 3"?

I was in Riverside today and I did some scanning and ran Close Call on my BC125AT, here's what I got:

- I heard Lyons PD using their Tac-4 freq 158.745 (151.4 PL) as a Side Channel.

I got a Close Call hit off of 155.805 (141.3 PL) which was being used by Riverside PD mainly for running information and as a Side Channel.

In addition, the dispatcher and officers referred to the channel as "18", or something like that...

Is there a pl tone for NRPD 155.940? What about any sideband activity from either Forest View, Stickney or McCook?
I can confirm that 155.940 is a CSQ signal, no tone. In terms of the other agencies you listed, I have not found anything new. They are all currently licensed for 155.070, which would be Tac-2. I haven't heard any activity on it for a while. If I'm ever in any of those villages, I'll be sure to run Close Call to try to track what freq's are used.

Just heard an unknown Forest View unit use Tac-4 155.310 CSQ. A female asked "Did you go to 46XX Oak Park?"

Just heard Stickney PD unit 143 transmit on 155.940 CSQ. I was too far away to clearly hear what the mobile was saying, but heard dispatch say "You need to get a new radio, it's making beeping noises."

Stickney and North Riverside Share the same side band of 155.940 CSQ. McCook still uses their Expired Public works band 154.980 for their side band with the PL 114.8

Does McCook PW also use 154.980? PL 114.8 or something else? No PL information listed in the Radio Reference database.

Thanks in advance...

The last I heard McCook PW were using Nextel's. Western Springs and La Grange have been the only active PW's that I've heard.
