Hello sir. I monitor Macomb/Wayne Counties on the ProScan and have a couple of questions that perhaps you can answer.
Does Wayne PD and Inkster PD share TG 22101, Westland PD and Garden City PD share TG 22109, Dearborn PD and Melvindale Pd share TG 22245?
Also are radios 1082xxx, 282xxxx and 982xxxx shared by all the agencies which seems to be the case?
Hopefully you can understand my question and provide some clarification.
Thank you
Richard

Yes, all agencies share a pool of available Radio IDs, and are based on the county of assignment. Since there are so many radios used in Wayne County, they have had to start using additional zones, beyond the zone 2 it is part of. Detroit, by itself, would use up most of available numbers in one zone. (In case you are not aware, the format for the RID is xxyyzzzz. The xx is zone, yy is county, and zzzz is individual radio. When the zone is less than 10, the zero is dropped.)
