• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

If you violate these guidelines your post will be deleted without notice and an infraction will be issued. We are not against discussion of this issue. You just need to do it in the right place. For example:

After updating to the latest MacOS . I can't get my scanner feed to work properly. I've been using Butt and Ladiocast. Butt, works fine, since the update to MacOS Mojave. Ladiiocast is not.Should I go back to the previous operating system? Or, is there an alternative combionation, or single software solution to get my scanner feed back online?

LadioCast is available in the App Store and should be compatible with Mohave otherwise Apple would not make it available. Developer licenses require all sellers to be compatible with new OS. I'm using a MacBook and the store says it will run on my computer. I run Broadcastify streams on iTunes. Seems to work fine although I rarely use it.

Try downloading LadioCast again from the App Store. There may be a new version.

Mohave has some neat new features. Don't go back.

"Check the network environment or the connection configuration." is the error message I get. I've configured Ladiocast to the specifications. And the software "butt" actually connects. But Ladiocast still won't.
