I just tuned in to Golden FD and they are setting up a "unified incident command", and discussing deploying water rescue units near a RV park. I obviously missed the beginning of this, anyone know what's going on?? (Traffic is now being moved to Golden FD Ch. 2)

Update: apparently the incident happened in a creak near a bridge adjacent to 6th Avenue. Brush 21 and Chief 21 are now on scene.

So far the main comms from "Canyon division" are on Golden FD 1. Reports from the last few minutes indicate ice is breaking and flooding may start soon. An "evac" center is being erected and several AMR units are being called in from Boulder and assigned to nearby quarters. Also a crowd is forming over a nearby bridge to watch the action and it's not helping any...

Update: The RV complex is still evacuated, but residents of the nearby apartment/condo complex are being allowed to return. The status of water levels seems to change by the minute.

U/D: Golden evac center closing. Safe to send people home. Roads covered in water and ice so very slick but safe for sleeping tonight.
