Does anyone have any frequencies of the radios being in operation with the marcellus shale gas drilling operations in central PA counties of Lycoming, Clinton, and Centre. Thanks for your assistance in advance.
In Wyoming & Susquehanna Counties (the Dimock Water Problem area), the support activities(plowing, water, water recovery tank farms, refuse disposal, road maint, heavy equip rental, etc) use LTR trunking. Some use CB. They are a very active 24/7 operation. You should hear terms such as pad, well, water trucks fairly often if any of these are active. Although Chesapeake Energy, Cabot, & Exon are drilling there, I think they have their own conventional freq, or maybe FRS as indicated. The problem is their licences are listed out of the Co. HQ, so you can't find them easily by searching the counties. After a lot of searches, I located Chesapeake.

They may use same freq's in your area. Check for PRIVATE CARRIER PROVIDING RADIO SERVICE TO PART 90 ELIGIBLES FB6/8 class freq's for possible LTR freq's As you probably know, you can program these as conventional to see if you hear any fracking activities.
