I've been listening to the LEERN27 TG over the last several days. Has anyone else been listening to their local patrol post "LEERN" Talkgroup? Are you hearing anything on it?

We're hearing LEERN traffic from much of the lower half of the state, a lot of it from Hamilton County.

Some of the traffic is a little garbled. The base stations seem to be OK but are sometimes distorted when they first start talking....

Now I have a question for the techno guys....Is LEERN patched at each patrol post or is it done by the computer system running MARCS?

Just lisening and wondering...I posed this question to the MARCS Yahoo group too...

Everyday I hear alot of traffic on 76B. Pretty much everything north of Columbus. Sometimes the audio isn't that great, but it comes in...

Like you I hear the Marietta OSP post 84 run test on the Post 84 LEERN TG with the Marietta city PD and Belpre PD checking in. They also have poor audio along with post 84, guess I need to check out 154.935 the next time and see if they are it also.

I've listened to both at the same time. There is a slight delay between the time 154.935 and when MARCS comes on line with the patch or however they are doing it.

The LEERN traffic is clear, no distortion on hi-band. The distortion is "added" by the patching I guess...

Monitored two units mobile-to-mobile in Route 23 in Delaware County on 3104 MARCS, LEERN X3 Spare. The units were traveling southbound and appeared not be from the area. I could not discern which agency. Has anyone else monitored traffic on the three LEERN Xy spares?

Yep, I ended up blocking out my MARCS LEERN TG, about all I ever heard was ALOT of Cinci traffic and garbled distortion.
