What mode of transmission (FM or AM) is used in the Marine Band?
Thanks,

Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefers is kind of a marine band. They do a lot of songs about boats and the sea.
And then there is the Marine Corps Band, but that's a different story.

If you are hearing Pendleton and Miramar copters from SC, you must have one heck of an antenna.
Undoubtedly due to some form of super ducting...or something. CA to SC? Yikes!
Those frequencies are in the Aeronautical Bands, both Civilian and Military, and just coincidently are used by the Marine Corps. Generally, the Mode is AM in both Bands, although there is a growing trend for the Military to have FM systems in the 380 - 400 MHz segment.well i have these freq and they are use with am mostly with few fm channels
