Has anyone had any luck programming and monitoring the new system at Foxwoods/Mashantucket?

Works like a charm. 4 sites in the system, some TGs only heard on certain sites. PD/FD heard on all. They just recently started the slot attendants using the new system. Haven't tried the old LTR in a while to see if anyone is still on it.

This is now a NXDN system? I think the DB is showing an LTR system.

Is there a certain way to program this system, like with a single control channe per site??

It looks like the new system info is at scannewengland.

To be sure I can monitor the system from my house, and before I buy and activate the NXDN key on my 536hp, am I able to hear the control channel data stream either in either analog or digital mode??

You should be able to hear the signal in analog mode. Keep in mind that one of the 4 sites is off reservation and is easy to hear in SE CT (452.8500). You will not hear the Casino TGs on that one as the radios affiliate on the inside sites.

Can't talk much on the system with locations, etc. but public safety and some tribal agencies are on the NXDN system. Other tribal and casino groups are being added in slowly as equipment becomes available. The old Passport side is no longer in use and there are still some LTR TG's active at the casino (which is the reason you are hearing analog transmissions).

CG, if the site you are describing is the one far down Route 2, that is no longer active. There is that other site that you can see towering from the reservation, that is still active. Its a little higher than the one located on the reservation.

As far as I can tell, there are 4 sites. Fox Tower, Pequot Tower, Museum (or water tower nearby), and the one I am referring to, Wintechog Hill Rd.

I receive the wintechog hill tower from quite far away, tracking talkgroups on the NXDN system very nicely. I agree with CG there are other systems here. I'm definitely receiving 2 other CCs when near the site, likely one for each hotel, and a very faint 4th CC.

Izzy, I'm not sure which site your referring to as down RTE 2. The wintechog tower seems to be the southern most transmitter for the system.

There used to be a site at I-95 and Rt 2 for the MPTN facility there. Eagle Park is the IT and admin offices. I think it was LTR only but may have had a Passport element to it at one time.
