Not sure. of that
They were having receive problems and dropped encryption on most of their channels on FiRST a while back. I don't monitor them frequently so I don't know if they have gone back to encryption or not. VHF channels were simulcast for a while but are now deprecated.

Ok, I'm very sure.

As @maus92 said, all NRP operations are encrypted. They encrypted their talkgroups earlier this year.

VHF is no longer in operation in the Baltimore/Chesapeake Bay area.

The only potential area that I could potentially see VHF still in service would be southern MD as they just went live on their talkgroups late last year but with them encrypting their talkgroups this year, I doubt they are still patched together.

It maybe still turned on, but its not actually a repeater, its just a receiver for the old VHF for Area 6 multicast, as of the cutover of Southern MD and NCR Regions everything for DNR is now on MD First. They will probably be around soon to remove that device from the site.

Are the legacy DNR and NRP VHF repeaters still in service in all regions? I was wondering if they will be maintained in the future as a backup to First. It seems the FCC licenses are being renewed.
