Don't have the freqs, but I believe they provide LE for the MDC water reservoirs.

i saw their explorer yesterday on airport rd, in hartford, and the one i saw had like 5 antenna's on it, i know mounted on the far left driverside hood was a low band antenna, so they probally are patched into the DEP system, or something like that, i am gonna try and snap a pic on my phone when i see one and post it up to see if we cant try and take a look, i never ever saw them until yesterday, and i thought it was MTA police or something like, anymore interesting private police departments that we dont know about?

Anyone know what the freqs are for any private security in CT?

I just did a search on the FRN # (0005180369) and came up with the following.

Metropolitan District Commission
48.10 KTB754 Located next to Lake McDonough in Barkhamstead
45.95 WPVM650 Same location in Barhamstead
159.090 WPVM650
155.070 WQCR708 West Hartford next to a reservoir
456.025 WQFC683
451.025 WQFC699 Repeater in Newington

45.94 is Base/Mobile
150.090 is Mobile/MO3(mobile repeater)
My assumption is that they have a similar setup as DEP EnCon Police, lowband mobiles with vhf portables and a vhf mobile extender.

CT Resource Recovery Authority (Same FRN)
462.275 WQAC706 Repeater in Hartford

I am going to try listen in on some of these, but I am not sure how much I will hear down in Milford.

westct, their license for 153.500 is showing in the ULS as expired.

South Central CT Regional Water Authority is digital/encrypted.
They have:
WPCH412 & WPGF642
451.225/456.225 Repeater/Mobile
452.700/457.700 R/M
451.700/456.700 R/M
451.3875 M
456.3875 M

RWA went digital before I started to get into scanning so I don't have much else on them but what I got from the ULS.

The Metropolitan District Commission is another water company in the Hartford area. I didn't know they existed until I read this thread. As for whether or not MDC's 451.025 is digital or encrypted, I have no clue. Maybe someone up in the Hartford/Litchfield County area can tell us.

451.025 is a packet data channel. I beleive this data is sent back to Hartford.
I will try to confirm

i was working today and i just saw an MDC Employee and he had a yellow XTS 3000....by the looks of the antenna i would assume UHF, and most likly digital if they are using the XTS, i got a quick glimps at the screen on the radio and it said "Road Ops 1"
so that is all i got from looking at that, it might be 462.2750mhz....because that is all i see listed besides the packet data channel,

MDC Police

MDC Police operate on the MDC low band channel with the VHF as their portables. However they also operate on the CSP 800 Mhz trunked system for communication directly to the Canaan Barracks. They also have direct communication to West Hartford PD on the town 800 Mhz trunked system
