Can anyone confirm it is Menards that I've heard on 464.4875 (DPL 031)? That freq/tone combo is not present in the database for any other cities.

I did hear 467.8875 065 DPL and 466.0375 025 DPL which were listed in the database in other cities as being a Menards frequency. I've also seen 469.5625 DPL 023 listed in the database as being Menards but didn't hear this one in Galesburg. This site lists 464.4875 as the lumber yard channel at a Menards.

all the Menards I've heard (except Galesburg) have been 154.570 (179.9). I've never confirmed a second VHF channel at any of the stores and I monitor the one in Normal quite a bit.

I still haven't figured out if the Champaign Menards uses radios or not. Urbana will be getting a new Menards soon so I'll go out there and check on their freqs once it's built.

I found 464.4875 DPL 031 is listed in the database as Lowes in Appleton, WI. Possibly it's Lowes, not Menards who is using this freq in Galesburg.

Menards in Champaign uses 154.570 71.9. To my knowledge the Champaign Lowe's doesn't use radios (I didn't see any).

Menards Peoria

Our Menards in Peoria uses 466.0375 with a 025 DPL and 464.4875 with a 031 DPL, 467.8875 065 DPL, 469.5625 023 DPL. This is our channel plan for Peoria. I thought 469.5625 was customer service but I dont know. I also been wanting to know the freq for Lowes for Peoria. They carry the Motorola RDX series but I don't know what band it is.

Okay looks like this is the channel plan for Woodstock.

Chan1: Electrical, Plumbing, Flooring, Wall, Cab Apps, P&G, M.W. 469.562500 FM DCS 023

Chan2: Building Materials, CC Reps, D.S.A., OSY/REC 467.887500 FM DCS 065

Chan3: Alternate Channel 466.037500 FM DCS 025

Chan4: Alternate Channel 464.487500 FM DCS 043

From what I am seeing on the post it looks like every store uses these frequencies and DCS just in a different order for each store.

Your welcome.I picked up people plowing on 154.600 with a 88.5 PL.It might be Menards since Walmart does not use tones.Hope this helps.

If you check Logan county, there is a walmart in Lincoln which uses a 88.5 pl tone. ;)
... But I doubt that's who you heard.

I can confirm the setup Menards uses at the store level. I am a member of administration at one of the stores in Illinois, but company wide this is the set up.

469.56250 D023N Menards Channel 1
467.88750 D065N Menards Channel 2
466.03750 D025N Menards Channel 3
464.48750 D043N Menards Channel 4

Channel 1- Used by General Managers, this is the channel that someone can use to get a hold of a General Manager. No Price checks or such should be done on this channel. Gate guard also reached on this channel. Only minimal traffic.

Channel 2- Front office operations. This is the channel that the carryout (cart guy) and garden center cashier should be on when they are NOT calling for a price check. Cashier calling for a cash pickup, or a service desk member calling for a swipe on a return, (anything over $100.00).

Channel 3- Departments, this is the channel that all departments should be on. This is the one that the department managers have their radios on. If a cashier needed a price check they would turn to channel 3 and ask the department.

Channel 4- Lumber yard, Lumber warehouse, special orders, receiving, forklift guys. This is the channel that the outside yard uses to coordinate activities. (Note this channel is a good one to listen to, they are quite mean to one another and can be kinda funny)

The head cashier, front end manager, general manager, and gate guard all have radios that scan all channels. This is for the stores using the Kenwood Talkabouts UHF radios.

Menards uses 467.8875 MHz at the stores in Montgomery (dcs065) and Yorkville, IL (dcs506).

The Menards distribution center in Plano, IL was using 151.910 (dcs411) when I heard them a couple of years ago and are licensed for other frequencies, too. WQBM267.

Menards

When Yorkville was still on VHF they occasionally were picking up the DC in Plano (also on some same freqs) They later changed to uhf. DC had the repeater and a few vhf dot simplex freqs.
