The type of scanner i am using is a Radio Shack Pro 2054.

Yea i just started to hear it to i checked my cable and i just can't get the hum to stop.The computer i am using does not have a line in so i have to use the Mic slot.

If this channel becomes busy i will lock it out Meridian Fire is on the priority channel so you won't miss any action there it would be the Lauderdale County Fire channel that could miss some action.

I need anyone's input on this hum that is being heard on the stream i made some adjustments to shoutcast this morning.

Please let me know if the hum is still there or if the hum is lower then what it was.

i listen to the stream off winamp and i am not hearing a hum.

Meridian Fire Metro Ambulance have been extremely busy today i have not heard this kind of action around here for a while Meridian Fire gets about 4-6 calls a day today it has been around 8-10.
