• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

Woman trips over cliff at the Colorado Nat'l Monument

A seriously injured female hiker is being identified as 22 year-old Savannah Quillin. According to St. Mary's nurse supervisor, she is in critical condition. Quillin was been airlifted to St. Mary's Hospital after falling off a cliff in the Colorado National Monument.

At about 2:30 the 22 year old female hiker fell close to 50 feet over the Falling
Rock Overlook 9 miles inside the East entrance of the Monument.

About 45 minutes after the fall, rope rescue teams went over the side of the cliff to rescue the severely injured hiker. The hiker reportedly had a broken leg and several other injuries.

She was reportedly in and out of conscious. We don't know why the hiker fell off the cliff but at the time of the fall, it was windy on top of the Monument.

Steep terrain and difficult access to the patient made the rescue difficult.
