I believe I found a Vehicle Repeater for Metrolinx, but not sure who exactly uses it. 469.8750 PL 100.0 is what I have been hearing. There is another frequency listed as a Vehicle Repeater for Metrolinx 469.5250 but I have not heard anything on that one yet.

What I heard on the other frequency sounded like a DVRS. All communications were digital and the repeater sent an idle burst every few seconds.

I believe that is what I am also hearing on .875 as well as the occasional voice.

Matt

Edit: Why analog though? I thought all of Metrolinx were P25?

I was thinking about this the other day actually. I saw a GO Enforcement car the other day - it had a VHF antenna and two UHF antennas on it. I had suspected they might be using a VRS of some sort. A buddy of mine used to work for them, I should ask him and see what he says.

Great find Matt :)

I spoke with my source at Metrolinx, who is in the know ;)
He confirmed that yes the Enforcement Units do use VRs.

I've heard 469.875 (100.0 PL) only downtown. Usually, it involves trespassing on railway lands. The one I heard involved multiple individuals crossing a multi-track situation.
