Miami Dade County System

I own a BC246T that I have not used in a couple of years. Recently, in the last few months I've been able to use it to monitor MDPD. However, I have other county groups I have recently been interested in listening because of where I work (Miami Dade Transit). Do the "recent" changes in the system affect my scanner from still listening whatever I was able to before programmed in my scanner? Would I need to upgrade, have my eye on the new Uniden's portable, specifically the BCD436HP? Thanks.

Ok, bumping this with another question. Found out that the latest system is APCO 25 Phase 1. In programming my BC246T, I'm presented with options, MOT, EDACS, etc. Could someone help with this? I can pretty much program my scanner but I need to know, from the choices given, which one.

It appears from what I can find that your scanner cannot monitor P25 digital signals. Here is a link for some models which can receive these signals.
