• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

If you violate these guidelines your post will be deleted without notice and an infraction will be issued. We are not against discussion of this issue. You just need to do it in the right place. For example:

Strathroy will start dispatching some departments in March, with the others to follow after that. I haven't seen a schedule or anything of that sort laying out a timeline though.

....also, just in case anyone is wondering... There will be no frequency or channel changes of any sort. County Tac 1 thru 3 will still have the same roles and frequencies as they do now, the only change being that Strathroy will be dispatching vs London.

Yes as of today they have officially taken over. Not so bad today, much better than last week. I'm sure once they get a few weeks under their belts it'll be OK.

I did hear her slip once, and say Strathroy. I wonder if that will be changed to Strathroy, one of these days.
