Hello all, I was curious to see if anyone that resides or works in Eastern CT receives anything on the Mili Air bands?

I have listened for years and never once have gotten anything on those bands, my antenna setup, coax, and radio are all good so that's of no concern.

I live in Mass on the upper Cape.
I get the fighters practicing in W105 off the coast.
Also get the refuelers running the AF routes from Cape Cod to Halifax Nova Scotia.

And that's with indoor mil-air antennas.
You should at least get something!!!
What radio are you using?

To the OP - did you look at the Scan New England wiki? I'm unsure as to how up to date the freqs there are, but at least it's a start.

And as to your antenna and coax - you say it's good, but specifically what are you using? Mike

One nice feature of the SNE Wiki is we try [when users submit] to keep a LAST Heard date, so folks know what might be OLD and STALE vs current.

A Diamond D130J with a 25 foot run of RG8X coax. I don't have a problem receiving anything else I want, for someone reason I have never gotten any Mili Air freq action though

For Giant Killer, I have 135.720 listed instead of 135.725. That shouldn't make a difference, right?

All aero xxx.x2 are xxx.x25
and all aero
xxx.x7 are actually xxx.x25
They are shortened in publications and some transceivers automatically do the last digit "5" for these. Generally it will not make much difference unless you have a narrow filter, which you do not.

I thought so. Here are some additional freqs I've monitored in the past 2 years: 228.00 AR777, 149.735 Dover with C17's, 247.205 & 296.90 Nation tankers (in orbit with f15's or others where AF1 is on the ground), 295.8 AR631, 304.6 CT NG helos, 305.00 Giant Killer, 311.00 RI NG C130's, 323.8 E6B's, E4B's on patrole transmitting EAM's.

and all aero
xxx.x7 are actually xxx.x75
