I'm new to the forum and do mainly milair monitoring.I was interested in getting into milsat but I'm not quite sure of what would be needed. I have researched the posts and this type of info seems a couple years old. If a satellite antenna is needed woud it be a base or handheld? Are the antennas commercially available, and at what price range? Also i'm not sure if most of milsat is encrypted-therefore would it be worth my while getting into it?
