In and out of the radio room tonite but I heard a MNR talkgroup off Brantford's tower with a call sign of Echo. From our database here the only Echo unit's are in Essex Co and the 5 Echo units in Waterloo Reg.

I am running Trunk 88 off Brantford tonite The MNR Patch seems to be radios affiliating with talkgroup 2784 which is MNR units dispatched from London, serving I am guessing, All of the London dispatch area.
I just heard a Romeo unit calling London and a Echo unit, from Cambridge.
I dont see it as being a patch of these Talkgroups on Trunk 88

I am a city boy, Natural resources? Whats that lol, I rarely have ever payed much attention but I am adding RID's to my ever growing stable of T88 ctl files.

5Echo units are Cambridge cars and I believe they are normally dispatched by Orillia.

If you're hearing London Comm Centre, it's more likely Essex units that are on the talkgroup.

Ya, thats how it goes I always hear Cambridge 5 Echo/P.Credit 5 India patched on GTA talkgroups such as Mowat, B-fad, Charlton, even your home town Brantford.

What I was hearing and I could be hearing things but it sounded like Echo units were on the same talkgroup as the MNR, dispatched by London. As I mentioned, I am running Trunk 88 off Brantford, and the patch that is set up probably covers the area that London dispatches , pretty much West of the GTA with the exception of Waterloo.

The patch did not show that Essex units were on it and the only Romeo unit that mentioned a location I knew off was Saugeen Shores. I did hear a Hwy 64 but I figure it is a county road, Hwy 64 is up north IIRC as a provincial highway.

Its not 6 Echo, it is chatter on the patch with 5 India and 5 Echo, P.Credit and Cambridge respectively.
I am using a Home Patrol scaner, each time I have activity on the MNR talkgroup if there is also activity on the P.C-Cambridge patch I am hearing their calls on the MNR talkgroup.
Wierd, I dont get this.

It's most likely that the MNR and OPP are doing joint ops. I hear this alot up here in zone 3 when an OPP officer and a MNR conservation officer are teamed up for an investigation. In my area, the OPP dispatcher and MNR dispatcher are the same person and they link the talkgroups for ease of dispatch.

They werent doing joint ups. My post said that the 5E and 5I was somehow appearing on the MNR Talkgroup for all areas SW Ontario. The Trunk 88 did not indicate a patch and the Trunk 88 would show the 5I & 5E stuff on their talkgroup but if there was comms on MNR at the same time as the 5I 5E the comms bleed over on to the MNR Talkgroup. Maybe it is a glitch in the scanner.
