MOA and LTR system?

I read somewhere that the Mall of America changed to an LTR system? What is that? Digital or analog? Trunking? Trying to figure that out.

Anyone listen to the MOA have the skinny on where to find and setup the very latest frequencies?

I got have figured out the motorola ARMER system now.. but looking at that link.. do these setup just the same way? Is it digital or analog?

I guess I don't know what LTR is? Is that a competitor of Motorola etc.... a digital system?... can put dashes in the scanner for talk groups?

... according to that wiki my PRO-96 can NOT follow an LTR system?

I guess since it is FM I can still listen in but not track the trunks? Is this correct?

That is correct...the PRO-96 does not track LTR systems.

Yeah you could listen to the frequencies, I suppose you could just program all the frequencies in the system into your scanner and scan them, but you couldn't track the talkgroups or even know which talkgroup you are listening to.
